CV Advisors LLC, a leading multi-family office, today announced that Hailey Gordon has joined the firm as a Portfolio Manager. Mrs. Gordon’s responsibilities will span both client advisory and the firm’s research and investment team. She will oversee investment management for a select group of client families, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager selection. In addition, she will partner closely with Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, Elliot Dornbusch to develop and implement investment views. She will also serve as a member of CV Advisors’ Investment Committee.
Mrs. Gordon brings to the Firm deep global macro investing and client advisory experience, including six years at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, founded by Ray Dalio. At Bridgewater, she served as an investor and advised institutional clients on investment management. In this role, she partnered directly with leading sovereign wealth funds and public pensions on portfolio construction, macroeconomic analysis, asset and manager selection.
Prior to Bridgewater, Mrs. Gordon held positions within Barclays’ investment banking division, specializing in interest rate and foreign exchange derivative solutions. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Highest Distinction and election to Phi Beta Kappa.
“Hailey’s appointment is a significant milestone at CV Advisors in that it represents the continued institutionalization and next generation of investment leadership at our Firm,” said Mr. Dornbusch. “Her macroeconomic perspective, portfolio-construction expertise, and experience advising some of the world’s most sophisticated institutional investors will be invaluable as we continue to deepen our research capabilities and strengthen the investment platform on behalf of our client families.”
“CV Advisors is building something truly distinctive for sophisticated, high-net-worth families, combining the rigor of institutional investing with the personalization of a single-family office,” said Mrs. Gordon. “I’m excited to join a team that pairs innovative technology with a deeply client-centric investment approach.”
Mrs. Gordon is another example of the flood of talent moving from Wall Street to South Florida, adding to the area’s growing reputation as a critical hub for financial and investment talent.
