LeaseLock

LeaseLock, the nation’s only provider of lease insurance for rental housing, is pleased to announce the addition of Jeremy Thomason as Industry Advisor. As a valued partner to LeaseLock for many years, the company is excited to welcome Thomason in this new advisory role.

LeaseLock, an insurtech company serving the rental housing industry, provides investors and operators with a unique solution to housing barriers and bad debt.

“Jeremy is a highly respected investor in our industry,” said Janine Steiner Jovanovic, CEO of LeaseLock. “He understands the failure of deposits and the benefits of LeaseLock. We’re excited to bring him on board as a champion for our cause.”

Thomason began his career in banking with Citibank, GE Capital, and Wells Fargo before serving as the Executive Sales Leader for CoreLogic Rental Property Solutions. Most recently he served as the Executive Vice President of Asset Management and Investor Relations at CAF Companies, overseeing a 23,000 unit portfolio valued at $4 billion. Thomason also serves as Managing Principal of private equity firm, Convolo Capital.

As a rental real estate investor for over 20 years, Thomason’s properties use LeaseLock Zero Deposit™ to achieve the unmatched benefits of deposit elimination, including accelerated leasing, risk mitigation and 3 to 5% NOI protection. “Thomason is devoted to making a positive impact on the lives of renters, while improving operations and investor returns. In his role at LeaseLock, he will bring more awareness to the industry regarding the failures of deposits and benefits of lease insurance,” said Jovanovic.

“If you do the right thing for renters, everyone benefits,” said Thomason. “The social impact of lease insurance makes LeaseLock unique and especially impactful.” Thomason will be speaking during the NAA Apartmentalize Conference this June on the ESG panel hosted by LeaseLock CEO, Janine Steiner Jovanovic.

Thomason serves as secretary on the Executive Committee of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, and holds a BA in finance from Texas A&M and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. Outside of work, he devotes his time to his wife and three children, cheering on his favorite sports teams and volunteering at his church.
