Vista Point Advisors, a boutique investment bank based in San Francisco, today announced the promotion of five team members at the firm.
“Each of these dedicated individuals made key contributions to the firm that allowed us to close M&A and capital raising transactions in excess of $2 billion of enterprise value in 2021,” said Michael Lyon, Founder and Managing Director of Vista Point Advisors. “We are confident they will continue to work in the best interest of our clients, helping us deliver unconflicted advice and positive outcomes.”
Scott Austin earned the promotion to Managing Director from Vice President. Mr. Austin has been actively involved in various transactions, including zyBooks, Zenwork, Nepris, Softdocs, TelTech, BizLibrary, and Opus 2. Prior to joining Vista Point Advisors in 2013 as an Associate, he worked as an Analyst at Nomura Securities and a Trader at Capital Asset Exchange. Mr. Austin received a BS in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Mike Greco earned the promotion to Managing Director from Vice President. Mr. Greco has been involved in various transactions, including Hatch, ClockShark, Traliant, SurePrep, Absorb LMS, SecureLink, ValuePenguin and CompareCards. Prior to joining Vista Point Advisors in 2014 as an Associate, he worked as an Analyst at J. Moore Partners, where he focused on enterprise software. Mr. Greco received a BS in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California.
Thomas Lin earned the promotion to Principal from Vice President. He joined Vista Point Advisors in 2014 as an Associate and has been actively involved in the sourcing and execution of various founder-led transactions, including Service Fusion, Dozuki, Format.com, and more, including a $165M minority raise for a high growth Internet client (to be announced in Q1 2022). He was previously an Analyst in the technology investment banking group of two other boutique investment banks. Mr. Lin received a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Loson Stockton earned the promotion to Senior Analyst from Analyst. Mr. Stockton has been actively involved in various transactions, including Hatch, Leap, Yoga International, and supplier.io. Prior to joining Vista Point Advisors in 2020, he worked as an Analyst at D.A. Davidson in their technology investment banking group, and as an Analyst at Software Equity Group, a software-focused M&A firm. Mr. Stockton graduated from the University of San Diego with a double major in Finance and Business Economics.
Jack Vawdrey earned the promotion to Director of Content Marketing. Prior to joining Vista Point Advisors in 2020, he worked as a Content Manager at ObservePoint. Mr. Vawdrey earned a BS in Strategic Management from Brigham Young University.
