CrossLink Professional Tax Solutions (CPTS), a leading provider of professional tax software solutions to tax preparers across the United States, and PayJunction, a leading developer of payment processing technology, announced the availability of integrated payment processing for tax preparers utilizing CrossLink Online. PayJunction is offering qualified clients of CrossLink a ZeroTouch Terminal to simplify payment processes and improve the customer experience.
“We are excited to launch this partnership with CrossLink Professional Tax Solutions,” said Randy Modos, president, PayJunction. “Together we will create meaningful improvements that streamline operations for tax professionals across the country, while delivering a better payment experience for their clients.”
“The payment processing integration with PayJunction offers CrossLink Online customers an industry-leading tool to help with point-of-sale payments and payment tracking,” stated Josh Daniel, senior vice president of Engineering at CrossLink. “Remote and touchless payments are also just a few clicks away for any Crosslink customer. In the future, you can expect to see CrossLink continue to integrate additional PayJunction functionality into our suite of products.”
The integration allows payments to be initiated using the CrossLink Online portal, and for all transaction information to seamlessly flow into client records. This eliminates double-entry keying errors, reduces paper-based systems, and speeds end-of-day close. Card details can be securely associated with client records for future payments, further streamlining processes so staff has more time to focus on tax preparation.
The integration of CrossLink Online and PayJunction streamlines payments:
- In-office payments are processed using PayJunction’s customer-facing, cloud-connected ZeroTouch Terminal. The amount due is automatically sent from CrossLink Online and displayed on the terminal’s large screen. Customers pay via a simple swipe, insert or the tap of their contactless card, phone or wearable.
- Payment history is paired with clients’ tax returns and digital receipts are securely stored in CrossLink Online, eliminating the time and hassles associated with paper storage and retrieval. Preparers can quickly retrieve transactions and email receipts to clients in just a few clicks.
- Tax preparers can also email customers a request for payment by inviting them to visit their website and click a “Pay Now” button where they enter card details into a secure, hosted form.
