VeriFast Expands Leadership Team

VeriFast, the AI-powered verification-as-a-service platform that automates financial analysis and decision making for resident screening, mortgage underwriting, and consumer lending, announced today a series of executive moves that reflect the company’s continued momentum as an indispensable partner to landlords focused on reducing delinquency and increasing occupancy.

Bob Hansen, a distinguished property manager and real estate technology (“proptech”) professional, is joining VeriFast as a vice president of sales. Most recently, Hansen was a principal at Second Nature, a developer of a fully managed resident benefits platform.

Prior to joining Second Nature, Hansen was a senior vice president for property management firm Home Partners of America. Before that, he spent 10 years with Apartments.com, where he served as vice president for the western region and launched a business unit, called rentalhomesplus.com, which targeted the single-family home sector.

At VeriFast, Hansen will focus on expanding VeriFast’s client portfolio in the midwestern multifamily sector and the national single family leasing industry.

In addition to hiring Hansen, VeriFast has promoted team member Jeanne Klein from vice president of sales to senior vice president of sales and Becca Stafford to vice president of operations.

An expert in multifamily housing fraud, Klein speaks and writes on the topic regularly. Prior to joining VeriFast, she served as national director of sales for Lobby CRE and director of sales for Parking Boss. Klein’s professional roots are in property management, where she distinguished herself for more than a decade in various roles with Greystar, The Altman Company, FCI Residential, and ZRS Management.

“Jeanne is a thought leader whose presentations often attract large audiences at important multifamily industry conferences and events,” Ray said. “Her work at VeriFast has been a key driver of our growth – and with her expertise in multifamily fraud, Jeannie has been a true source of insight and vision for us as a platform developer and company.”

Stafford brings to the role more than a decade of leadership experience in property management and real estate accounting. As vice president of operations for VeriFast, she will oversee the company’s AI-driven property management and lending products.
