CommLoan Hires New Vice President of Business Development

CommLoan, a CRE lending tech company recently announced Sarah Stasney as Vice President of Business Development. Stasney will help the company expand into Austin, a new market in Texas.

Stasney comes to CommLoan fresh from her role as a wealth advisor at Wells Fargo: The Private Bank. In that position, Stasney worked with high-net-worth clients and helped them effectively manage their wealth. Prior to Wells Fargo, Stasney was a director at SVB Analytics, where she was responsible for new business development and managed the sales team. Stasney sits on the board of Habitat for Humanity and was also a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington University and a Master’s in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas.Fintech News

As CommLoan’s Vice President of Business Development, Stasney is responsible for building relationships with referral partners and borrowers, as well as generating loan opportunities through networking events and on-site visits. The primary goal of her position is to foster referral relationships to generate quality commercial loan opportunities for CommLoan. In addition, Stasney will follow up on loan quotes, as this is a marketing opportunity to gain introductions to borrowers and generate leads. Stasney will report to CommLoan’s CEO Mitch Ginsberg.

In her spare time, Stasney is an avid motorsports enthusiast. She’s a certified level two instructor and her race car is a McLaren 570 GT4, chassis #100. Stasney enjoys taking her two children on parade laps on tracks throughout the state of Texas.
